Jörg Tandler is Germany’s premier master luthier for Custom Electric Guitars. His handmade Gibson and Fender Style guitars are worldwide recognized as some of the best of their genre. Tandler’s knowledge about the old techniques of the 1950’s are unsurpassed. Even master luthier Ulrich Teuffel consults Jörg on wood specific issues.
Jörg strongly believes that a master luthier has to be a decent guitar player himself in order to have a better judgment on the guitars he is building. Solely relying on second opinions makes the quest for the perfect tone almost impossible. He stands up for these words and proves that he knows what he is talking about. Jörg Tandler started this year to officially build guitars under his name. Each of these exquisite instruments are voice-tuned to get as close as possible to Jörg’s or the customers preference in tone. He also started a new line of acoustic and archtop guitars. Stay tuned.
